Having passed through the Scott Reese Leadership Camps as a camper many years ago, Jen joined our staff in 2003.
Jen is a graduate of Grants Pass High School, where she marched all four years and was very involved in all aspects of the band program. She studied Elementary Education at the University of Oregon, where she marched with the Oregon Marching Band. Jen began teaching at Roseburg High School, Sunset High School, and Sheldon High School while she was the the UO. She feels very fortunate to have provided instruction for Grants Pass High School and West Salem High School, before joining the Evergreen High School staff in 2010. Jen has been working with Summit Independent Winterguard, a non-profit all-volunteer organization, since it was founded in 2011. Jen is a highly effective teacher, leading many of her groups to earn respect and awards thorughout the Northwest.
Jen is also a head counselor, instructional staff member and administrative assistant at the Alan Keown Marching Percussion Camp since 2001. Her favorite quote is “Every finish line is a new beginning.”
