Hey all of you past drum campers! This year marks the 20th year for the Alan Keown Marching Percussion Camp and we have decided to invite everyone back for the Friday night celebration and the Satuday performance! The past 20 years have been amazing here at drum camp and we would love to see all of you again up in the woods for a fun-filled celebration.

You would arrive at camp on Friday July 18th around 5:00 pm (eat dinner before you arrive), and get your tent set up around the perimeter of the field. You will be able to roam freely around the grounds, walking the nature paths, reminiscing about years gone by, or watching our final dress rehearsal for the performance on Saturday. After our rehearsal you can join us in our Friday night drum circle led by Matt Savage...the end-of-camp drum circle always promises to be a raging celebration as many of you probably remember! (Be sure to bring a hand drum or something to play at the drum circle). After the drum circle we do a very special candle light service for the campers that is a beautiful ceremony, followed by a heart to heart talk separately with the boys and girls of the camp where we wrap up the camp’s overall philosophy of making good life choices....this time has proven to be life altering for many of our campers through the years.

Saturday morning has not changed one bit over the years! You will join us for breakfast, we will do our camp cleaning (this is the time you will strike your camp sites), one more run-through of the show, and then the parents arrive and we perform! You will all be introduced at the performance, and the parents will get to see 20 years of drum camp right before their eyes!!! The performance ends about noon.

We hope you will join us for this momentus occasion...it would mean alot to me and the rest of the staff to see all of you again. All you have to do is fill out the application, send in your fee, and show up on July 18th!!! It is that simple. I hope to see you there!
